Richard Desmond Children's Eye Centre at Moorfields is the winners of WAN Healthcare Building year 2009. Architects Penoyre & Prasad ,who based in London are the key persons responsible for the design. 
The panels from National Health Service (NHS) and other architecture community feel that this project shows its ‘simple clear massing and organisation between front and back of house.’ 
The designers aimed to create a hospital that different from traditional hospital we usually see, they use very colourful schemes for the layouts and the facade. Besides that, solar shading is used at the facade to provide shade.
