A project by Foster + Partner

The building’s spiraling form emerges majestically from a newly landscaped park, rising in converse directions to form a diagonal grid. This distinctive geometry extends throughout the project into the park. The result is that the scheme is seamlessly integrated into a new park landscape, which provides a range of activities throughout the year, including cross country skiing and ice skating in the winter.
If the building successly built after five years time, it will be a succeed in the world of Architecture as well.
hope to see this building.

Tatoo House

Introduction
An extension to an existing 3 bedroom house in Fitzroy North to provide new living and kitchen space for a growing young family. Many of the design decisions were generated by the tight budget. The form is a simple box- the strongest form an architect can achieve at a bargain basement price

Every element needed to perform multiple functions for maximum return- hence the kitchen bench becomes part of the stair, and the screening required by council reflects heat and glare away from the expansive windows, neatly eliminating the need for curtains.

Council requirements regarding overlooking which dictate a 75% opacity to second-storey spaces are resolved by UV stable stickers rather than expensive and elaborate screening. The tree supergraphic creates playful and ever-changing shadows across the interior spaces and is composed of images taken in the local park.Despite these challenges a double story, non-domestic scale space was achieved with a basic palette of materials.

"0 0 1 1 04 01 08 0 9003"

0 0 1 1 04 01 08 0 9003 is an amazing installation by Clara Wicke in Wiesbaden that consists of eight bodies hanging from the ceiling encased in a white gauze-like fabric. Who are they?
Why do they float above? What has arrested their flight? Angels, conscience, random thoughts at rest? Are they memories or part of that dream state when you feel you are flying?
